Chateau Miraval Rosé 0.75 2022 Region: Côtes de Provence Château Miraval is a 500 hectare estate located in the heart of Provence. In 2012, it was purchased by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who run it to this day in collaboration with top French winemakers from the Perrin family. Chateau Miraval’s vineyards have been cultivated organically for many years and are certified organic. Varieties: Senso & Grenache & Syrah & Rolle Tasting characteristics: It takes a lot of time and love to create an excellent wine like Château Miraval Rosé Côtes de Provence AOP. The grapes, which come from vines on mineral limestone and clay, are hand-picked in the early dawn. This is the time when the fruit is freshest. In order not to lose the freshness, the grapes are quickly transported in small boxes to the cellar, where they are selected twice to really preserve only the best. Censault, Grenache and Rolle are pressed, while Syrah is partially vinified using the Saignee method. The expansion is done for the most part in stainless steel, but a small portion is aged in barrels in which batonnage is applied.
