Familia Torres Moscatel Oro Floralis N.V. This sweet wine is made from one of the most classic grape varieties in the Mediterranean. The Floralis Moscatel Oro from Miguel Torres is vinified from Moscatel grapes (100%) and has a lovely amber color in the glass. It is made in the style of Vin Doux Naturel. This pure dessert wine exudes an enticing bouquet with subtle floral aromas of roses and fresh citrus flavors. It tastes juicy and wonderfully concentrated. The finish convinces with good length and a nice sweetness. The grapes are pressed after 6 hours of contact to a pulp. To preserve the natural sweetness, wine distillate is added to the must before fermentation. The dessert wine is aged for one year in the steel tank. It is then stored in a bottle for a further 2-4 months before going on the market. The wine is an ideal accompaniment to desserts/pasta with dried fruit and honey or caramel topping, also with the Spanish dessert Crema Catalana.
